Winter Fashion Delight
We’ve had a warm autumn and it’s only been the last few weeks that the weather has really cooled down. Last weekend, I felt it was finally time to go out and buy a new winter wardrobe.
So a couple of girlfriends and I popped down to the Albany Mega Centre for an afternoon of shopping. With a number of women’s clothing stores all in one place, there was bound to be something for all of us. So, we parked the car at the top end and began our shopping adventure.
First stop, North Beach. What a funky store with lots of cool stuff to look at and try on. We were there for over an hour and would have been longer if wasn’t for all the other stores we needed to visit. I found a great pair of jeans, one of my friends got a winter coat and the other purchased a casual jacket.
A short walk to EziBuy and again a huge selection to choose from. My eye was drawn to a couple of Next dresses for work that work equally well for dinner and drinks with friends. I bought both, along with a belt and a cardigan that could mix and match with either dress.
Continuing the trip around the Centre we stopped in at Cotton On. You can’t beat quality t-shirts and sweatshirts and Cotton On always delivers on this front. Their selection feels both current and timeless, which is probably why all three of us purchased something. I walked away with two sweatshirts, two printed t-shirts and a fantastic stripped cotton-shirt that will go well with either jeans or a skirt.
A few additional stops for those little extra things, for coffee and even to take some Instagram snaps (thanks for the free Wi-Fi) and we were done. What a way to spend a weekend afternoon. Some great purchases and lots of fun with the girls. Can’t wait to show off all my new clothes!
